SONY PLAYSTATION 3 SLIM
It looks like Sony continue their traditional system slimming with the announcement of their new Playstation 3 Slim. The top-notch video game system will now retail for $300, while still maintaining the same feature as its bulkier counterpart. Gizmodo breaks down some of the juicy details:
The slim will come with a 120GB drive, and will be 32% smaller and 36% lighter than the standard PlayStation 3, as well as using 34% less power. The $300 price will apply to all PlayStation 3s starting today. The Slim will be available everywhere by the first week of September.

Alan Bean was the only astronaut from Apollo 12 to walk on the moon. Now retired, he paints about his experience as a Moon Walker. His work is currently on display at the Air & Space Museum in Washington D.C. until January.

"WE WERE ONCE A FAIRYTALE" - SHORT FILM
"We Were Once A Fairytale" is a short film that was directed by Oscar-Nominated director Spike Jonze and starring Kanye West. It was a video for the song "See You In My Nightmares", but when two creative geniuses like Kanye and Spike get together on a project, you know the outcome won't be anything normal. In this case, instead of a video, you have a 14 minute short film.
The film will be available on iTunes September 8th.
